Review

Saving Private Ryan is a World War II movie by the film director Steven Spielberg. It's a depiction of the sad realities and psycho-trauma soldiers go through during war time. Based in Normandy, France in 1994, it pursues a group of soldiers in the task of finding and delivering Private James Ryan home, brother of other combat-dead members. The film has an impressive cast of actors with Tom Hanks as the U.S. Captain in a performance that is out of this world, literally. This film is most known for its graphic realism in showing the D-Day landings and the brutal reality of World War II, but it is also very historically accurate. With great cinematography, Saving Private Ryan is a nearly 30-year-old war movie masterpiece, probably standing among the highest-rated war movies to this date, showing an incredibly moving story.
