Rush Hour by Brett Ratner is an interesting blend of both action and comedy. The story is about how Detective Lee and Detective Carter are working together on a kidnapping case and trying to put up with their cultural differences and language barrier. Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker make the movie fast-paced and hilarious, keeping you glued to the screen at all times. Most of the humor is physical comedy or verbal jokes, full of quotable scenes. The set action pieces are great, especially for all the Jackie Chan signature moves in the form of martial arts. Rush Hour is light and a fantastic action film; it really is among the greatest in the genre because of how outstandingly the lead actors perform. It is definitely one of my all-time favorite action-comedy movies.
