Bruce Almighty is a comedy film directed by Tom Shadyac and features Jim Carrey as TV reporter Bruce Nolan, who is bestowed with the powers of God. Bruce utilizes them in a very funny style, which leads him into certain personal growth but is interspersed with hilarious misadventures. The movie manages to blend comedy with some real heart, as Carrey puts on a killer performance, matched only by strong performances from Aniston and Morgan Freeman. This lighthearted take on the issue of divine power contains a moral lesson on personal responsibility and the importance of kindness. One of the better and funnier ones out there! This movie will have you laughing from start to finish.
